There may be rain

There may be rain on the trees, Afternoon breeze. Friends waiting at the bay and music to play. A treat for the mind in some answers to find. But no delight to embrace when frown’s on her face. There maybe grudges to speak. Fairness to seek, counting the right and the wrong, all our traumas of long. All my hurts to stress. And the efforts to express. All irrelevant pile without her smile. There maybe pain to endure, uncertainty sure. Some doubting of the plain and questions in vain. Irrational fears or a whole winter of tears. Yet, nothing drains more when her spirit's sore.
